Built in South Africa

Your clients' documents shouldn't live on someone else's continent.

Intellitics builds business software for South African firms. Our first product, MasterVault, is private file storage that runs on servers in Cape Town — with the paperwork your POPIA obligations actually require.

The problem

Most SA businesses can't answer three basic questions.

If a client asked you today, could you say where their documents are stored, who has opened them, and how quickly you could get them all back?

Where is it?

Consumer cloud drives move data between regions without telling you. If personal information leaves South Africa, POPIA section 72 puts conditions on that transfer — and the obligation is yours, not your provider's.

Who touched it?

When someone exercises their right of access, or something goes missing, you need a record. Most shared drives give you a version history, not an audit trail.

Who signed what?

POPIA section 21 requires a written contract with anyone processing personal information on your behalf. Try getting one from a global consumer file-sharing service.

Software you can phone someone about.

We are a small South African company. You will deal with the people who build the product, in your time zone, in your currency.
