The short version

This website sets no cookies at all and runs no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. That is why you are not being interrupted by a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

What that means in practice

• No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media trackers.
• No third-party fonts. Our typefaces are served from our own domain, so visiting this site does not disclose your IP address to a font provider abroad.
• No cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not know, and do not want to know, what else you have been reading.

What we do record

Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs — IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser user agent. These are not cookies and cannot be used to follow you across other websites. We use them for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults, and keep them for 90 days. This is described in our privacy notice.

Your browser also caches pages, images and fonts so the site loads quickly on your next visit. That is ordinary browser behaviour, is stored only on your own device, and is not readable by us.

Inside MasterVault

The MasterVault application itself sets a session cookie to keep you logged in. That cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, so it does not require separate consent. It contains a session identifier and nothing else.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or marketing technology that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and ask for your consent first, rather than switching it on quietly. POPIA requires explicit consent before cookies are used to target you with direct marketing, and we would ask regardless.
